We are in full planning swing, with Christmas and New Years over we are full steam ahead with getting the details together.
Saturday we drove around with my dad looking at rehearsal dinner locations. We have narrowed it down to three possibilities. Two of them had not opened when we were there so I will be stopping by them this week to talk to them about what space they have. We love this area but the resources are limited. There are more bar/restaurants but they would not be able to accommodate our group on a Friday evening. We would love to have it walking distance from the church, but we might have to travel a little ways, depending on what restaurant we choose.
We have narrowed down photographers. We are meeting with one today in Va Beach, and discussing others this evening. Jessica’s little book of lists is a wonderful thing. There are checklists of everything that we need to do and more, plus questions to ask any vender that we would possibly need. In using it so far, we have caught many people off guard with some questions, and they are good questions that most people do not think to ask like, “How long is the isle of the church?” I would seriously suggest it to anyone who is getting married.
